Rajya Sabha Chairman Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan administers oath/affirmation to newly elected/re-elected Members in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi:20/7/26:Hon’ble Chairman, Rajya Sabha, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan administered oath/affirmation today in Rajya Sabha Chamber to nine newly elected/ re-elected Members, namely Dr. Mukeshbhai J. Rathwa, Shri Pawan Khera, Shri Mahesh Kewat, Shri James Pangsang Kongkal Sangma, Shri Khiangte Laltluangkima, Dr. Satish Poonia, Shri Prakash Chik Baraik, Ms. Sushmita Dev and Shri Sukhendu Sekhar Ray.

Five Members took oath in Hindi, two in English and two in Bengali. Three Members are from the state of West Bengal and one each from Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Rajasthan.
