Odisha Government has approves 23 investment proposals worth ₹4,574 crore

Bhubaneswar:21/7/26: During the 148th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) today, chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg, 23 industrial project proposals with a total investment of ₹4,573.87 crore received approval. These projects will generate 22,873 employment opportunities across the state.

The investment proposals span multiple sectors, including Information Technology and IT-enabled services (ITeS), green energy equipment, battery and energy storage, chemicals, textiles and apparel, food processing, steel downstream, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, infrastructure, healthcare, and tourism. These projects will be set up across 11 districts—Angul, Balangir, Cuttack, Ganjam, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Puri, and Sundargarh further boosting industrial activity across the state.

Key Approved Projects

HCL Technologies Ltd will establish a global development centre in Khordha with an investment of ₹730 crore, creating 6,000 jobs.

Green Energy & Storage:

ACME Cleantech Solutions Pvt Ltd will set up an alkaline electrolyzer manufacturing unit (up to 3 GW per annum capacity) in Ganjam with an investment of ₹778 crore, generating 480 jobs.

GGB Battery India Pvt Ltd will establish a zinc anode battery manufacturing unit in Cuttack with an investment of ₹202.50 crore, creating 254 jobs

Envirocare Infrasolution Pvt Ltd will develop an additional 100 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic captive power plant in Angul with an investment of ₹351 crore, generating 60 jobs.

Textiles & Apparel:

SAPL Industries Pvt Ltd will set up a ready-made garment manufacturing unit in Puri with an investment of ₹254 crore, generating 4,570 jobs.

SPL Industries Ltd will establish another garment unit in Puri with an investment of ₹50 crore, creating 3,000 jobs.

Richa Global Exports Pvt Ltd will invest ₹84.45 crore in a garment manufacturing unit in Puri, generating 2,500 jobs.

Astha Cotspin Pvt Ltd will set up a textile manufacturing unit in Balangir with an investment of ₹124.50 crore, creating 325 jobs.

Chemicals:

Growing Tree Oil & Refinery Pvt Ltd will establish an integrated manufacturing facility in Nuapada, including solvent extraction, oil refining, cashew processing, starch-based products, feed production, distillation, and a 9 MW co-generation plant, with an investment of ₹250 crore, generating 1,150 jobs.

Transpek Industry Ltd will set up a specialty chemicals facility in Ganjam with an investment of ₹343 crore, creating 424 jobs.

Tirupati Microtech Pvt Ltd will establish an integrated chemicals complex and rare earth mineral processing facility in Jajpur with an investment of ₹70 crore, generating 84 jobs.

Krebs International Ltd will develop a chromium chemicals manufacturing facility in Mayurbhanj with an investment of ₹68.01 crore, creating 300 jobs.

Food Processing:

Growing Tree Oil & Refinery Pvt Ltd will also set up a dairy products manufacturing unit in Cuttack with an investment of ₹80 crore, generating 435 jobs.

Steel Downstream:

Shri Mahavir Ferro Alloys Pvt Ltd will establish a unit for galvanised and zinc-aluminium coated wires in Sundargarh with an investment of ₹105 crore, creating 250 jobs.

RAG Industries Pvt Ltd will set up a facility for steel processing products in Khordha with an investment of ₹52 crore, generating 210 jobs.

Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices:

EFYIONDX Pvt Ltd will establish a manufacturing facility for biotechnology products, pharmaceuticals, bulk drugs, and medical equipment in Khordha with an investment of ₹60 crore, creating 555 jobs.

Infrastructure & Logistics:

Tata Steel Ltd will develop a 5 MTPA railway siding in Keonjhar with an investment of ₹165.30 crore, generating 250 jobs.

Lingaraj Translogistics Pvt Ltd will set up a logistics park and warehousing facility in Sundargarh with an investment of ₹150 crore, creating 250 jobs.

Sri Jaibalajee Agro Products Pvt Ltd will establish an integrated logistics park with a 5 MW rooftop solar plant in Dhenkanal with an investment of ₹120 crore, generating 235 jobs.

Healthcare:

DION Riverside Township Pvt Ltd will establish a 300-bed multi-speciality hospital in Cuttack with an investment of ₹275.89 crore, creating 941 jobs.

Tourism & Hospitality:

Biswa & Jit Multi Complex Pvt Ltd will develop a 5-star hotel in Cuttack with an investment of ₹105.22 crore, generating 150 jobs.

JAS Towers LLP will establish a 5-star hotel in Sambalpur with an investment of ₹85 crore, creating 325 jobs.

Srikrishna Estates and Construction Pvt Ltd will set up the “Krishna Lake View Resort,” a 5-star luxury resort in Khordha with an investment of ₹70 crore, generating 125 jobs. Officials said the approvals reflect the state government’s continued focus on attracting investments, generating employment, and promoting inclusive industrial growth in line with its vision of ‘Samruddha Odisha 2036’.
