 Renowned Odia music composer Abhijit Majumdar Hospitalised In Cuttack

Cuttack:31/8/25:: Renowned Odia music composer Abhijit Majumdar was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in the CDA area of Cuttack following serious health complications reported on Sunday.

According to reports, Majumdar had been undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments over the past several days. His condition worsened due to a deficiency of sodium and potassium in his body.

The composer reportedly experienced additional health issues while performing at music programmes during the Ganesh Puja festival on August 27. Following the sudden decline in his health, he was immediately taken to a private health facility in Cuttack.

Today, Majumdar was transferred to the CDA-based hospital, where he was admitted to the emergency ward for further critical care.
