Veteran Oriya film actor and writer-director Narayan Pati passed away

Bhubaneswar:26/6/25:Veteran Oriya film actor and writer-director Narayan Pati passed away today (25th June) at a hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was admitted to the hospital on June 24, 2025. His last film was Boura Hatabaksa. He had also acted in films made in other languages.

A National School of Drama alumnus, he was known for his versatility as much as for his depth in acting. He had started his career in 1971. Pati featured in several films across different languages. His performances in Shantata! Court Chalu Aahe (1971), Lakhe Shiva Puji Paichhi Pua (1994), Gare Sindura Dhare Luha (2001), and Arjun (2005) received critical acclaim and established him as a respected figure in Indian theatre and cinema.
