AAI Pavilion at Wings India Showcases India’s Aviation Journey from Regional Airstrips to Global Gateways

Bhubaneswar, 30.01.2026: From modest regional airstrips to world-class global gateways, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has been the silent architect behind India’s remarkable aviation transformation. At Wings India, AAI’s pavilion powerfully positions the organization as the designer, developer, enabler, and custodian of India’s aviation ecosystem- where infrastructure meets inclusivity, safety aligns with sustainability, and innovation fuels national growth.

The AAI Pavilion offers visitors a rich, immersive experience highlighting the authority’s multifaceted role in shaping India’s aviation landscape. A key attraction is the anamorphic immersive display, presenting newly developed airports that seamlessly blend cutting-edge technology with India’s diverse cultural aesthetics.

The pavilion features immersive zones showcasing nationwide airport connectivity, Indian art and culture through Kala Sankalan, and the success of regional aviation under RCS- UDAN, alongside an interactive Aviation Quiz and a Digital Selfie Pavilion that introduces visitors to diverse aviation careers through profession-specific virtual environments- spotlighting the people who power the aviation ecosystem.

Adding a strong cultural and national dimension, the pavilion commemorates 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, paying tribute to Shri Bankim Chandra Chatterjee and honouring the national song that continues to inspire generations. A physical selfie point further celebrates the leadership and vision of Indian aviation under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, reflecting the government’s commitment to transforming India into a global aviation hub. Through innovation, inclusivity, and cultural pride, the Airports Authority of India pavilion at Wings India stands as a compelling narrative of India’s aviation past, present, and future.
