Odia movie ‘I Am Kalia’ to hit screens on July 4,2025

Bhubaneswar:27/6/25:Odia movie ‘I Am Kalia’,  produced under the banner of Lee Bliss Entertainment, narrates a heart-touching social story centered around unwavering devotion to Lord Jagannath, reflecting the lives of many who selflessly dedicate themselves to divinity, transcending worldly attachments. The film is scheduled to release across Odisha on July 4, coinciding with the Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath, as announced by the production team

The film features Harihar Mahapatra in the lead along with Russian theatre actress Aniya, Kuna Tripathy, Pushpa Panda, and Satwaki Mishra. The story is written by Monalisa Mahapatra, while the screenplay and direction are by Harihar Mahapatra.

The film has four songs of different tastes. While music has been composed by Baidyanath Das, Surya Mahapatra, Dr. Subha Das, Pramod Parida, and Nihar Priyashis have written the songs, and Humane Sagar, Asima Panda, Kuldeep, Prajna Hota, Sricharan, Sukanta Kundu, and Sanju Mohanty have lent their voices.

The choreography was done by Sudhakar Basant, Raja Mohanty, and Kumar Mantu. The production house believes the film, as well as the songs, will be appreciated by the cinephiles. Filmed entirely in the holy city of Puri, this marks the third Odia film featuring a foreign actress in a lead role.
