Bhubaneswar:18/12/24: Baishnab Charan Samal will be conferred with the Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award 2024 for his book ‘Bhuti Bhakti Bibhuti’.

‘Bhuti Bhakti Bibhuti’ is regarded as a lofty literary work by Samal, representing one of his most far-reaching interpretations of extended spiritual conceit. It delves into the universal religious acceptance of Lord Jagannath and the Jagannath consciousness.

In June, the Sahitya Akademi announced the names of Manas Ranjan Samal and Sanjay Kumar Panda of Odisha among winners of Kendra Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar and Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar, respectively.
