An orientation programme was organized at the convention centre in Lok Seva Bhawan for the new officers

Bhubaneswar:19/6/23:Attending the orientation programme for 269 officers who joined Odisha Govt, CM Naveen Patnaik advised them to follow 5T governance mechanism. CM asked them to use tech to reach out to people faster, work as a team with focus on timeline & maintain transparency for transformative outcome.

CM said the transformative governance will fulfil the dreams of 4.5 Cr people. The Govt is building infra, transforming schools, providing health security, attracting investments & taking many other initiatives. CM added the objective is to make Odisha one of top states by 2036.
Underlining the importance of commitment in jobs, CM advised the new officers that they should be committed to serve the people with their hearts and minds. CM underscored that in the journey of transformation, all wings of government should work in tandem to realise the objective.
A total of 160 Odisha Education Service officers joined as Block Education Officers & Headmasters, & 90 Social Security Service Officers joined as Block Social Security Officers. As many as 19 Odisha Information Service Officers joined as Sub-Divisional I&PR O

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that his Government is driving a transformative governance to fulfill the dreams of 4.5 Crore people of Odisha.  We are building infrastructure, transforming schools, providing health security, attracting investments and taking many other initiatives. Our objective is to make Odisha one of top states of India when we will be celebrating 100 years formation of Odisha in 2036, he envisioned.

CM said Social Security Officers have significant role in serving old, infirm & people with disabilities & advised them to ensure that no one is left behind. CM added I&PR Officers should spread right info on the initiatives & use social media to reach a larger, younger audience.
CM continued the Teachers & Education Officers have most important work in hand. Quality education is fundamental to a prosperous society. CM added OdishaSchoolTransformation has improved environment for education. The dedication to education will help children ready for future.He emphasized that in this journey of transformation, all the wings of government must work in tandem to realize our stated objectives

Advising the new officers to follow the 5T initiative of governance mechanism, he advised them to  use technology to reach out to people faster, work as a team with focus on timeline, and maintain transparency all though your work. It should be ensured that no legitimate person is left behind, he added.

The Information & Public Relations Officers, he continued, should   reach out to people with right information on state’s initiatives. Use social media to reach a larger, younger audience, he suggested. The Teachers and Education Officers have the most important work in hand. Quality education is fundamental to a prosperous society. Our transformed schools have an improved environment for education. The dedication to education will help our children ready for future, he advised.The CM wished all a bright career ahead.

Information & Public Relations Department Minister Pradeep Kumar Amat, SSEPD Minister Ashok Panda, and  School & Mass education Minister Sudam Marndi spoke on the occasion. Highlighting their departmental initiatives they advised the officers to follow 5T principles to excel in their jobs.

Three officers each from all the three departments shared their experience in the recruitment process. All of them appreciated the transparency and the speed at which the process was carried. They committed to work with absolute professionalism to provide services to people.

Development Commissioner Smt Anu Garg highlighted the recruitment drive of the state govt in her welcome address. Departmental secretaries also spoke.
