BJD Fields Snehangini Chhuria for Nuapada Bypoll

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday named senior leader and former Odisha Minister Snehangini Chhuria as its candidate for the upcoming by-election to the Nuapada Assembly constituency.

Chhuria, a seasoned politician with deep roots in the region, is expected to bolster the party’s prospects in the bypoll.The Nuapada bypoll was necessitated following the death of Rajendra Dholakia on September 8. Voting for the bypoll will take place on November 11, and counting will be held on November 14.
