Drawing Competition on Safety Awareness Held at Government High School, Damana

Bhubaneswar, March 6, 2026:As part of the National Safety Week/Month celebrations, GAIL (India) Limited CGD Bhubaneswar and Cuttack organized a drawing competition on the theme “ Engage, Educate & Empower People to Enhance Safety. ” The event was conducted at Government High School Damana, with enthusiastic participation from students.

The programme was held in the presence of Headmaster Shri Biswanath Sahoo and Shri Amitabh Ghorai, DGM (CGD), and Shri Bommana Anirudh, Senior Officer (Fire & Safety).

The event was coordinated by Jeff Lopez, Senior Officer (Fire & Safety) of GAIL CGD Bhubaneswar.

Students actively participated in the competition and creatively expressed their ideas on safety through drawings highlighting topics such as road safety, fire safety, and safety in everyday life.

The initiative was organized to promote safety awareness among young students and encourage them to adopt safe practices in society as part of the National Safety Week/Month celebrations 2026.
