Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurates National FPO Conclave 2025

Newdelhi:30/10/25:Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today inaugurated the National FPO Conclave 2025 in Delhi. The event saw the participation of over 500 progressive farmers, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), Implementing Agencies (IAs), and Cluster-Based Business Organizations (CBBOs) from 24 states and 140 districts across India

Addressing the gathering, the Union Minister lauded the efforts of farmers, FPO members, and participating institutions, calling upon them to transform farmers from producers to entrepreneurs and traders so that the full benefit reaches them directly. Shri Chouhan conveyed gratitude on behalf of farmers to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his unwavering commitment to protecting their interests and emphasised that agriculture is vital for both livelihood and national food security. He said, “Our focus is on integrated farming for the benefit of farmers. Relying solely on grains will not suffice; allied activities must be promoted to enhance farmers’ income.”

Shri Chouhan conveyed gratitude on behalf of farmers to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his unwavering commitment to protecting their interests and emphasised that agriculture is vital for both livelihood and national food security.
