292nd Board of Directors Meeting of O.C.C Ltd. held under the Chairpersonship of Anu Garg, DC Cum ACS, Water Resources

Bhubaneswar 27th October, 2025:292nd Board of Directors Meeting of O.C.C Ltd. has been held today under the Chairpersonship of Smt. Anu Garg, DC Cum ACS, Water Resources, Odisha.

In the meeting held , it was revealed that 3673 Crs worth of projects are already in the pipeline, which includes mechanical works of 86 Crs and works of other departments like fishery, animal husbandry, science and technology, tourism, and others. Under tourism, the Integrated development and upgradation of the master plan of the Hirakud reservoir area and its surroundings, which includes light and sound symphony, arrival plaza, and the Dam museum, costing more than 100 Crs. It is going to be executed by the OCC.
The Kusabhadra ISS will be completed by June 2026, and the Kuakhai ISS by December 2026. The completion of Kuakhai and Kusabhadra ISS will lead to a riverfront in the vicinity of Bhubaneswar city. After the construction of these two ISS, the dying river Prachi will be rejuvenated.
The Kanupur Dam has already been completed, and the spillway is underconstructions which will be completed by December 2025. This will enable control of floods in Baitarani and facilitate irrigation to the areas of 30000 Ha of Keonjhar District.
