Dhamra Port Celebrates Navaratri with Grandeur and Devotion

Dhamra, 03.10.2025:  Dhamra Port, with immense joy and devotion, celebrated Navaratri and Dussehra in its township for the very first time. The nine-day-long festival, dedicated to Goddess Durga, brought together employees, township residents, government officials, and port visitors, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and spirituality.

Over the course of the festival, Maa Durga was worshipped in her different forms each day, with rituals and offerings conducted in adherence to Hindu traditions. The event saw enthusiastic participation from all sections of the port community, reflecting the shared cultural values and togetherness among people associated with Dhamra Port.

Adding to the festive spirit, a variety of cultural activities such as Garba nights, dance competitions, and devotional music programs were organized daily. These events not only enriched the celebration but also fostered community bonding and cultural exchange among participants.

The nine-day Navaratri celebrations have created a positive and devotional atmosphere within the port township. This initiative by Dhamra Port has been widely welcomed by employees, their families, and those who expressed their appreciation for this new tradition that blends culture, devotion, and community spirit.
