Gopabandhu Journalists’ Health Insurance Scheme Deadline to Sept 8

Bhubaneswar:1/9/25:The Odisha state government has extended the application deadline for the Gopabandhu Journalists’ Health Insurance Scheme.

Previously set to close on August 30, the deadline has now been extended to September 8, following requests from journalists. This marks the second extension of the application period.

The scheme provides working journalists with health insurance coverage, enabling their families to access cashless treatment up to ₹5 lakh at empanelled hospitals.

Both new applications and renewals are being accepted online for the current year. Interested journalists can apply through the official portal, www.owjws.odisha.gov.in.
