MoU signed to strengthen infrastructure facilities at IMA

Bhubaneswar:29/7/825: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IMA) and Odisha Construction Corporation Limited (OCCL) to strengthen the infrastructure facilities at IMA today at Kharvel Bhawan. The MoU was signed between Director of IMA, Prof Josabanta Jena, and General Manager of OCCL, Shri Pratap Chandra Chaudhury, in the presence Science & Technology Minister, Shri Krushna Chandra Patra, and Principal Secretary, Smt. Chithra Arumugam. The state Government has sanctioned Rs 26.05 Crore for construction of a new Library Building, staff quarters for faculty, an Additional Floor on Hostel and on academic block in the institute. The construction work will be completed within 2 years by OCCL.

Among others MD of OCCL Shri Bibhuti Bhusan Dash, Additional Secretary of Science & Technology Department Smt Sibani Mohanty, Smt Puja Mishra, Smt Urmiprava Moharana, faculties and staff were also present on the occasion.
