Star Air has announced to start direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda

Bhubaneswar:23/7/25:Star Air has announced the commencement of direct flight services between Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda from August 16, 2025

Bookings for the new route have already opened on Star Air’s official website as well as popular travel portals. The route is set to be operated with Embraer E175 aircraft, featuring both business and economy class configurations in a spacious 2×2 layout.

“We are delighted to launch our services from Bhubaneswar, further expanding our footprint in eastern India,” said Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer, Star Air. “This new route not only enhances intra-state connectivity in Odisha but also supports the growing demand for affordable and convenient regional travel.”

Passengers can expect hot meals and beverages onboard, maintaining the airline’s commitment to quality service. The route aims to cater to business travellers, tourists, and locals alike, marking a significant milestone in strengthening Odisha’s aviation ecosystem.

The Bhubaneswar–Jharsuguda corridor has long awaited direct flight services, and Star Air’s initiative is expected to reduce travel time considerably, offering a convenient link between the state capital and western Odisha.
