Nominations Open For Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025

Newdelhi:3/5/25:The Ministry of Women and Child Development has announced the call for nominations for the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025, a national award recognizing exceptional achievements by children across India. The deadline for submitting nominations is July 31, 2025, and all applications must be submitted online via the official Rashtriya Puraskar Portal at https://awards.gov.in.

The PMRBP honors children aged 5 to 18 years (as of July 31, 2025) who have demonstrated excellence in six categories: Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art & Culture, and Science & Technology. The awards, conferred annually by the President of India, aim to celebrate young achievers, inspire their peers, and promote holistic development among the nation’s youth.

Nominations can be made by individuals, institutions, or through self-nomination by the children themselves. To apply, users must register on the portal with details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email, and Aadhaar number, followed by CAPTCHA verification. After logging in, applicants can select “Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025” under Ongoing Nominations, choose the relevant category, and indicate whether the nomination is for themselves or another individual.

The application process requires submitting nominee details, a 500-word narrative outlining the achievement and its impact, up to 10 supporting documents in PDF format, and a recent photograph in jpg/jpeg/png format. Applicants can save drafts and edit them before final submission, after which a downloadable copy of the application will be available.
