Bhubaneswar:16/4/25: Senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Paramita Satpathy Tripathy has assumed charge as the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Odisha today.

The 1989-batch IRS officer, an eminent litterateur, had also held different key positions in the Income Tax Department in Odisha.

She had also served as the Director of Finance in the Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited (OPGC).

As a writer, Paramita had received the prestigious Odisha Sahitya Akademi Award in 2006, Sahitya Akademi Award in 2016 and Sarala Award in 2021.
