Odisha Housing and Urban Development Minister called upon the department’s officers and staff to work with dedication

Bhubaneswar: 01/1/25:The Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, has called upon the department’s officers and staff to work with renewed dedication and efficiency to make the Housing and Urban Development Department a model of excellence.

Speaking at a New Year gathering held this morning at the Kharavela Bhavan Conference Hall, Dr. Mahapatra emphasized the department’s pivotal role in building a developed Odisha, contributing to the vision of a developed India.

Extending his heartfelt New Year greetings, Dr. Mahapatra wished the department’s members happiness, peace, and prosperity in 2025.

 

He highlighted the significance of the year, as it marks the government’s first anniversary and the forthcoming Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrations. Stressing the importance of showcasing Odisha’s cultural heritage and progress on a National platform, he urged the team to deliver exceptional results, making the state’s hosting of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas a benchmark of success.

Dr. Mahapatra expressed optimism that the Housing and Urban Development Department would play a key role in securing the legitimate rights of the state’s poor and contribute meaningfully to Odisha’s development journey.

Principal Secretary Usha Padhee welcomed the Minister and extended her New Year wishes to the attendees.

She provided a detailed overview of the department’s achievements and urged the team to work with sincerity, discipline, and a mission-oriented approach to meet the department’s goals.

Among others, Special Secretary Rajesh Prabhakar Patil,  Director Municipal Administration Debashish Singh, and other senior officers and all staff, reaffirmed their commitment to achieving excellence in urban development initiatives.

The Housing and Urban Development Department remains dedicated to improving the quality of life for all citizens and showcasing Odisha’s progress on both national and international platforms.
