Odisha CM Visits Trimetro Garments & Anadrone Systems Company

Bhubaneswar:24/5/26:Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited two flagship manufacturing units in Khordha’s industrial parks today, reaffirming the government’s commitment to fast-tracking investments, job creation, and strategic growth. The Chief Minister began his tour at Trimetro Garments (EPIC Group), a Hong Kong-headquartered apparel giant making its India debut with a state-of-the-art facility. The project, involving an investment of approximately ₹376 crore, moved at remarkable speed — from groundbreaking on April 3, 2025, to full inauguration in under a year.

The unit produces garments for the global fashion powerhouse Uniqlo and is poised to generate over 7,000 direct jobs, positioning Odisha firmly on the international textile and apparel map.

Later, Majhi visited the Mundamba Industrial Park facility of Anadrone Systems Private Limited, a key player in India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem. With an investment of ₹96.86 crore and potential to employ 165 skilled workers, the company specialises in advanced defence systems.

The CM witnessed live demonstrations of cutting-edge equipment, including Aerial Targets, Target Launchers and Trailers, Ground Support Equipment, and Ground Stations currently under production at the Khordha plant.

During detailed interactions with promoters and employees at both sites, the Chief Minister assured full administrative support and seamless facilitation for current operations as well as future expansion plans. “Odisha is committed to creating a truly business-friendly environment where industries can thrive,” the Chief Minister emphasised, highlighting the state’s vision of balanced, high-value industrialisation that spans employment-intensive sectors and strategic high-tech manufacturing.
