Usha Padhee Takes Charge as Chairperson of IDCO

Bhubaneswar:9/2/26:Usha Padhee, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary of the Housing and Urban Development Department, takes on the role of Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) Chairperson.

She joins a crucial meeting with IDCO’s senior officials and staff right after assuming duties. She highlights ongoing projects, priorities, and a roadmap to strengthen industrial infrastructure across the state.
She stresses timely project execution, transparency, inter-departmental coordination, and proper support for investors. She states IDCO plays a vital role in accelerating industrial growth through land development and infrastructure building.
She focuses on planned urban development alongside industrial infrastructure. She calls for well-planned industrial townships with advanced civic amenities, transportation, and sustainable infrastructure in industrial zones. This approach enables balanced and integrated state development.
She praises the IDCO team’s efforts. She urges everyone to work with greater professionalism and dedication for Odisha’s industrial development and inclusive economic growth.
