CSR & Sustainability Conclave 2025 inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Shri K V Singh Deo

Bhubaneswar- 21/11/2025:A two-day CSR & Sustainability Conclave 2025 was inaugurated by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Energy Minister Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo at the Odisha State Convention Center today. This conclave will showcase CSR- funded innovations, promote cross-sectoral collaborations, and facilitate MoUs. It is an initiative of Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, in association with the Department of Energy, Govt. of Odisha. The theme of the conclave is “Driving Inclusive Growth through Technology, Energy & CSR Convergence.”

While addressing the stakeholders, policy makers,& Start-up owners, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Singh Deo said, Today Odisha is at a moment of transformation in the energy sector. We are powering inclusive Odisha through sustainable technology. CSR-led innovations will provide affordable, adaptable solutions and designs for Indian realities.

Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Ahuja said, this conclave aimed to catalyze social change, foster partnerships, and promote robust monitoring of social impact programs through technology.

Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare Dept., Govt. of Mizoram, Smt Pi Lalrinpuii, Hon’ble Minister of State, Govt. of Maharashtra, a Smt Meghna S Bordikar, MD BIRAC, Dr Jitendra Kum, Principal Secretary, Energy, Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, Govt. of Odisha, addressed the audience, while Dr Mrutyunjay Suar, Chairman, BCKI, C gave a welcome address, and a note of thanks was given by CEO, BCKIC, Dr Namrata Misra.

The event brought together corporates, NGOs, Policymakers, Govt. Officials and social entrepreneurs to focus on using technology for social progress, with a particular emphasis on inclusive development and rural transformation. The event included panel discussions, leadership sessions, policy makers’ dialogue: enabling ecosystems for technology-led inclusive development, startup showcase: innovations for inclusion- scalable tech for change, Industry leadership forum: green growth and corporate stewardship for a sustainable economy, emerging technologies for a sustainable tomorrow, etc.
An exhibition of 50 curated innovations showcasing futuristic concepts was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and other dignitaries.
