Bhubaneswar-12.11.2025:The: State level Children Festival “Mahak” witnessed a grand prize distribution at Kalinga Stadium today. The event, organised by the Women & Child Development Department and Odisha State Child Protection Society, encouraged the students to celebrate the talent, perseverance, and spirit of the children. The two-day event ‘Mahak’ was a stage for dance, music, painting, debate, and a quiz competition.

On this occasion, the Director of ICDS and Social Welfare, Smt. Monisha Banarjee, Additional Secretary, Sri Krutibasa Rout, and chief of the UNICEF Odisha field office, William Hanlon J, encouraged the students, saying that this event not only lies in competition, but also encourages learning and self-expression. They expressed that this event is the State’s cultural richness and the resilience of its young hearts.
