Literature Conclave Held in Adani DAV Public School

Dhamra, 07.10.2025: The Literature Conclave was started with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Mrs Krisnapriya Sarangi, along with other distinguished luminaries. A mind-blowing devotional dance with Dhyana Shlokam was performed. Mr Akashdip Banerjee gave the keynote address and briefed about the importance of the conclave. In the first session, Mr Rajendra Kumar Rout, Lecturer in English, Dhamarai High School, analyzed different aspects of modern poetry as a source of motivation with its free verse, fragmented imagery, symbolism, and disillusioned themes reflecting life and nature. Mr Nishakar Patra, Teacher in Odia, Dhamarai High School, elaborately illustrated literature from the Old Odia Period to the Modern Odia Period with the continued development of Odia as a vibrant language with multiple genres. ‘A Brief History of Time from the Big Bang to Black Holes’ and ‘How to Win Friends and Influence People’ were critically reviewed by Prince Priyanshu Das of Class X and Abhilipsa Biswal of Class VIII, respectively.

Then a dynamic panel discussion was held on the theme ‘Literature Is the Mirror of Society,’ which was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session. All resource persons shared their noteworthy feedback to ignite the latent talents in students. Mr Debanarayan Misha, an eminent educationist, acted as Programme Observer in the Conclave and shared his literary wisdom among all. Mrs Krishnapriya Sarangi, the Principal of the school, honoured the resource persons by presenting beautiful shawls and gave a clarion call to all students to implement the imparted takeaways to enhance their LSRW Skills. Mr Sudarsan Pati offered the Vote of Thanks. Eventually, the conclave was accomplished with a grand success.
