First preparatory meeting held for organizing Krushi Odisha 2025-26

Bhubaneswar- 04/10/2025 : The preparatory meeting for Krushi Odisha 2025-26 has been held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Energy, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo. The three-day event of Krushi Odisha will be celebrated with great enthusiasm from the 22nd to the 24th.

As per the decision of the meeting, from this year onwards, the Krushi Odisha Conference will be organized on a particular date every year in the month of January. Intellectuals, successful farmers, scientists, agricultural producers, and FPOs from different corners of the country and the state will participate. More than 250 stalls will be displayed by agricultural entrepreneurs, self-help groups, Mission Shakti members, and more than 10,000 farmers will attend the conference. There are also plans to organize a special exhibition of farm mechanization and modern agricultural equipment. The meeting also discussed the accommodation and related arrangements for farmers coming from far away.

In the preparatory meeting, the Principal Secretary Dr. Ar, Arbinda Kumar Padhee, Director of Agriculture Shri Shubham Saxena, Director Soil Conservation & Watershed Management Shri Subrat Kumar Panda, and senior officers discussed the ongoing preparations in the meeting in detail and presented their well-considered suggestions for its successful organization.
