LOP Naveen Patnaik advised the young leaders to travel extensively across Odisha, connect with students and youth

Bhubaneswar:29/8/25:In a vibrant and engaging session, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met with the newly appointed Student and Youth Presidents of Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) and Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) at Naveen Niwas.

The meeting, attended by the newly appointed advisors of both wings, focused on empowering Odisha’s youth to lead with grace and address the state’s challenges.

Patnaik advised the young leaders to travel extensively across Odisha, connect with students and youth in every district, and address their concerns with empathy. “I have high hopes for you,” he said, urging them to remain polite, graceful, and committed to the party’s ideals. He emphasised the importance of teamwork in resolving issues faced by Odisha’s youth and students.

The BJD President also highlighted the power of social media in today’s world, encouraging the leaders to actively promote the party’s vision and commitments online. “Engage with the people, propagate our ideals, and work as a cohesive team to make a difference,” he advised.

The meeting saw the presence of BYJD President Chinmaya Sahu, BCJD President Ipsita Sahu, and advisors Byomkesh Ray, Amaresh Patri, Sanjit Mohanty, Rajendra Kumar Sahu, Debesh Acharya, Debi Ranjan Tripathy, Subhashish Khuntia, and Souvic Biswal. The interaction left the young leaders inspired, ready to take on their roles with renewed enthusiasm and dedication to Odisha’s development.
