For the first time, CPSEs and PSBs participated and made it to the final list under National Anubhav Awards Scheme

New Delhi:28/5/25: On the directions of the Prime Minister of India, Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare launched an online platform ‘Anubhav’ in March 2015 for sharing the experiences of retiring/retired government employees while working with the Government.

Thereafter, an Annual Awards Scheme, to incentivize and encourage retiring/retired employees to submit their experience through write-ups, was introduced. So far 59 Anubhav Awards and 19 Jury Certificates have been conferred.

National Anubhav Awards Scheme, 2025 was notified and it was unique as for the first time, apart from the employees of Central Government, employees of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and Public Sector Banks (PSBs) were also covered under the scheme to acknowledge their contribution in the nation building. The write-ups published from 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2025 were considered in the scheme.

Backed by the closely monitored ‘Anubhav Outreach Program’, total of 1459 write-ups from record 42 Ministries/Departments/Organizations were published as compared to 30 Ministries/Departments/Organizations in 2023.

Subsequently, a two-tier examination of the published write-ups was undertaken and completed after following due process, thereby finalizing 05 Anubhav Awardees and 10 Jury Certificate winners.

The Anubhav Awardees include following retirees – Sh. Hukum Singh Meena, Addl. Secretary, Department of Land Resources, Ms. Shalini Kacker, CGM, SBI, Sh. M. Venkatesan, OSD to MoS (PMO), Sh. O. Virupakshappa, Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices and Sh. Saju P.K, Head Constable, CRPF.

Sh. Jai Prakash Srivastava Director, BHEL, Sh. Vinod P, Scientist G, DRDO, Dr. Jolly Dhar, Outstanding Scientist, Department of Space, Ms. Sunitha Cherodath, Spl. DG, DoT, Sh. Sabu Sebastian M, Scientist G, DRDO, Ms. Velaga Kumari, Dy. Director, M/o Jal Shakti, Sh. Santosh Gawli, Head Constable GD, ITBP, Sh. Balam Singh Rawat, Dy. Commandant, CRPF, Sh. S Meenakshi Sundaram, Inspector/Pharmacist, CRPF and Sh. Sheela Rani Poddar SI/GD, CRPF are the retirees who have been selected for the Jury Certificate.

The Anubhav Awards and the Jury Certificates will conferred in a national level event by the  MoS (PP), Dr. Jitendra Singh on 18.08.2025.
