Odisha government has appointed New Members To OPSC And OSSC

Cuttack:13/5/25: Odisha government has appointed Prof. (Dr.) Mihir Prasad Mishra, Principal of S.C.S (Autonomous) College, Puri, as a Member of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) for a term of six years or until he attains the age of 62 years.

A notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department stated that the conditions of his service will be regulated under the Odisha Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1952.

Additionally, Udaya Narayan Das, IAS, Director of Census Operations, has been appointed as a Member of OPSC for a similar term. His service conditions will also be governed by the same regulations.

In a separate development, retired IAS officer Sudhakar Burgi has been appointed as a Member of the Odisha Staff Selection Commission for a period of five years or until he attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. His salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of the Chairman and Members) Rules, 1995.

Dr. Shruti Das, Ex-Professor, Department of English, Berhampur University, has also been appointed as a Member of the Odisha Staff Selection Commission for a similar term. Her salary, allowances, and service conditions will be governed by the same rules.
