Ramesh Rao Clinches Gold at National Para Fencing Championships 2025

Berhampur:4/4/25: V. Ramesh Rao, the ace para athlete from Chatrapur in Odisha’s Ganjam district, has clinched a Gold medal at the National Para Fencing Championships 2025 held at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

Showcasing impressive performance in various para-fencing events, Ramesh secured a total of 4 medals.

In the final of the foil category team event, he defeated his competitor from Haryana to bag the Gold medal.

In other events, he won two Silver medals and one Bronze medal.

Odisha Para Fencing team delivered an outstanding performance at the Championships. The athletes secured 29 medals across multiple categories, including nine Gold, 11 Silver, and nine Bronze.
