Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida unveiled a dedicated web portal for implementation of Subhadra Yojana

Bhubaneswar:2/9/24: The Odisha government on Monday unveiled a dedicated web portal for implementation of Subhadra Yojana, which is scheduled to be rolled out on September 17.

The web portal www.subhadra.odisha.gov.in was launched by Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida.

“People can get all information, including the final SOP, eligibility criteria, and the application process, regarding the scheme by accessing the dedicated portal. The applicants can also lodge their grievances through the portal,” she said.

It is available in both Odia and English languages.

The Deputy CM further said that any new announcement about the scheme can be accessed  here.

The flagship scheme for the welfare of women in Odisha will be implemented from 2024-25 to 2028-29 financial years. An outlay of Rs 55,825 crore has been made for this initiative. All eligible women of 21-60 age group in a family will get the benefit. Those getting widow pensions and scholarships from the government will also get the assistance. However, women, who receive Rs 1,500 or more per month or Rs 18,000 or more per year from any other government scheme, will not be eligible for Subhadra Yojana. In the event of the beneficiary’s death, aid will be withdrawn, and family members will be unable to request it. The money will be credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the occasion of Rakshya Bandhan and on International Women’s Day (March 8). They will get Rs 50,000 in five years under Subhadra Yojana
