US Consul General Jennifer Larson, along with her team, visited the headquarters of Milk Mantra

Bhubaneswar: 8/8/24:The US Consul General Jennifer Larson, along with her team, visited the headquarters of Milk Mantra.

During the visit, she engaged with founders Srikumar Misra and Rashima Misra to understand the distinctive entrepreneurial journey that led to the establishment of Milk Mantra in Odisha.

Notably, Milk Mantra secured funding of USD 10 million from the US Development Finance Corporation in 2020 for the construction of a new facility in Puri. This plant, which is close to completion, is set to amplify Milk Mantra’s impact on the local ecosystem, from generating employment opportunities to enhancing the economic well-being of farmers and broadening the Milky Moo product line.

Concurrently, founder Srikumar Misra has embarked on a new venture named ‘aarna’ in the AI and Decentralised Finance domain, while maintaining his position on the Board of Milk Mantra. The company’s operations are now spearheaded by co-founder and executive director Rashima Misra, alongside a proficient management team that includes CEO Kailash Gahir and CFO Pradeepta Jena.

The visiting US delegation comprised Economic Chief Frank Talluto, Commercial Chief Raghavan Srinivasan, Political Advisor Srimali Kari, Economic Advisor Siba Prasad Tripathy, and Commercial Advisor Suniel Kumar.
