National Disaster Management Authority reviewed the heat wave situation

Bhubaneswar: 4/4/24:The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Thursday reviewed the heat wave situation and preparedness measures of the 10 heat-prone States including Odisha.

The Additional SRC along with ED, OSDMA, and other officers attended the meeting and made a presentation on the heat wave scenario in the State.

They have presented the measures taken by the State Government to combat the heat wave situation.

Earlier today, the India Meteorological Department issued yellow warnings for heat wave conditions in 11 districts of the State for the next three days. The districts are Nayagarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Dhenkanal.
