BJD President Naveen Patnaik announced the list of fifteen candidates for the Lok Sabha seats

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday announced the first list of nine candidates for the Lok Sabha seats for the ensuing General Elections 2024.

As per the announcement, BJD Orgnaisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das will contest from Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat.

Here is the list:

Kalahandi: Lambodhar Nial
Sambalpur: Pranab Prakash Das
Sundargarh: Dilip Tirkey
Mayurbhanj: Sudam Marandi
Kendrapara: Anshuman Mohanty
Nabarangpur: Pradeep Majhi
Bhubaneswar: Manmath Routray
Koraput: Kaushalya Hikaka
Aska: Ranjita Sahu

BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik revealed the names of six more candidates for Lok Sabha seats in the second list just hours after releasing the first list of candidates for 72 Assembly and 9 Lok Sabha seats.

Among them are Arup Patnaik for the Puri Lok Sabha seat, Sarmistha Sethi for the Jajpur Lok Sabha seat, Rajashree Mallick for Jagatsinghpur, Abinash Samal for Dhenkanal, Achyuta Samanta for Kandhamal, and Santrupt Mishra for Cuttack.

Notably, Santrupt Mishra has been selected for the prestigious Cuttack Lok Sabha seat after BJD MP Bhartruhari Mahatab resigned from the party.
