Naveen Patnaik highlighted Odisha’s journey of transformation and empowerment in the last two decades

Bhubaneswar:23/2/24:Attending the ‘RisingOdisha’ event organised by News18 Odia, CM Naveen Patnaik highlighted Odisha’s journey of transformation and empowerment in the last two decades. CM said that the State has become a model in disaster management & women empowerment and a net food security provider.

Mentioning about state’s sports ecosystem, CM said that Odisha is a global model in hosting international sporting events and promoting sports. Focusing on the healthcare transformation in the State, CM said that the BijuSwasthyaKalyanYojana has empowered people at the grassroots.

Highlighting that Odisha is the top second state in attracting investments, CM said that for the last several years, Odisha has remained a revenue surplus state and ahead of other states in terms of economic growth. CM expressed confidence that Odisha will be among the top three states in a few years from now.

CM said, all these have been possible because of the transformative model of governance powered by the 5T initiative. CM added, that in every bit of transformation, there is determination to leave no one behind. ‘We have ensured that the poorest of the poor must feel that he or she is a partner in this transformation journey,’ CM said.
