Sri Jagannath Temple Administration has started efforts to put up state-of-the-art Air-conditioned sheds on the Badadanda

Puri: 7/12/23:To ensure that the pilgrims coming for darshan of the deities at the Lord Jagannath temple have hassle-free entrance, the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration has started efforts to put up state-of-the-art Air-conditioned sheds on the Badadanda. The tunnel-like sheds will streamline the queue management system and provide all necessary amenities for the devotees. The sheds will have air-conditioned seating facilities and drinking water connections. The sheds will be put up from Marichikote Square to Singhadwara along the Badadanda.

According to sources, the work for building the sheds will be completed by 25th December and they will be operational from the New Year. The sheds which will be 84 meters in length and 12 meters in width will be installed over the barricades and provide relief to pilgrims from rain and sun.
