5T and Naveen Odisha President VK Pandian has Reviews Cuttack Bhubaneswar Metro Rail project

Bhubaneswar:29/10/23: Under Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik’s instructions 5T and Naveen Odisha President Shri VK Pandian today morning 4. Went to Cuttack Bhubaneswar Metro Rail project site on 30th and saw the project work. In the first phase, this metro project will connect Trishulia via Chandrasekharpur, Jaydev Vihar, Vani Vihar, Master Canteen, Rajmahal Square to Bhubaneswar Airport.

Through this project, Trishulia will be built as a major junction between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Along with this, it will stand as an important gateway to the dual city from Banki and Athagarh. The central depot of Metro Rail project will be built near Trishulia. There will also be metro train repair facilities along with the command and control system of the project.

Shri Pandian also suddenly visited Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal took feedback from common people and passengers there and checked the cleanliness. In addition to passengers, he spoke to shopkeepers, various service providers, bus operators, and other staff and advised authorities to further improve coordinated information management systems.

He also visited the converted Taladanda Canal. By advising the development of beautification facilities at the sides of the canal, he said that this could lead to the development of better entertainment facilities for the residents of Cuttack.

Shri Pandian was accompanied by Smt Anu Garg, Development Commissioner – cum – Addl. Chief Secretary, Shri Manoj Kumar Mishra, Principal Secretary, E&IT Department, senior officials of Cuttack District administration, Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation and Works Department of Govt. of Odisha.
