Malkingiri: 12/10/23:The golden chapter in the travel system of the state started in Malkangiri. Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated the ‘Lakshmi’ scheme to make the transportation facilities of the people of the state. 36 buses have started operating in 111 panchayats of Malkangiri district.
In the first phase, bus services will be provided under the ‘Lakshmi’ scheme in Malkangiri along with Nabarangpur, Koraput, Rayagarh, Gajapati, and Kandhamal districts. Along with this, giving importance to the benefits of the people of Malkangiri district, according to the opinion received during the visit of 5T secretary, the Chief Minister has launched a project worth ₹800 crore.
More than 1,000 buses will operate in the entire state phases under the ‘Laxmi’ scheme.
