Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Railway Minister has sanctioned a major fund of Rs 155 lakhs for Balasore District from MPLAD fund

*1 Crore for developmental works: Bahanaga & surrounding villages

*35 Lakhs for Advanced Life Support Ambulance: Balasore District Hospital

*20 lakhs for Modular Operation Theatre, Balasore Lions Eye Hospital

Nredelhi:6/7/23:Sri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Railway Minister met the first responders at accident site, local people, villagers, members of NGOs etc. during his visit at Bahanaga Bazar and Balasore on 20.06.2023 & 21.06.2023.  He appreciated their effort to save the lives of many passengers. Local residents interacted with Hon’ble Minister and raised certain demands for the area. Hon’ble MR fulfilled his promise within two weeks and 2 High masts with floodlight have already been provided for proper lighting and visibility of the area. To improve the drainage system, installation of new Hume pipes is going on in full swing. Trenching has already been done, materials are available at the site and work will be completed very soon. Hon’ble MR has given emphasis on fast-tracked completion of this developmental work.

Sri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Railway Minister has sanctioned a major fund of Rs 155 lakhs from the MPLAD Scheme. For improvement of local area, Hon’ble MR has sanctioned a fund of Rs. 1 crore for various developmental works at Bahanaga & nearby villages  including construction of 5 Community Centres and Hall with provision of toilet & cold drinking water with RO, construction of Children Park & Gym near Basuli High School, strengthening of Road from NH-16 to Level Crossing No. 95, repairing of Sartira Village Road at Sathi, improvement of Pranabandhu Bidyapitha School playground, provision of 42 Nos. Solar Street Lights etc. To fulfill his commitment, he has also sanctioned Rs. 35 lakhs for Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance for District Headquarters Hospital, Balasore. Moreover, Rs. 20 Lakh has been sanctioned for one Modular Operation Theatre at Balasore Lions Eye Hospital.

With the special initiatives and constant supervision by Hon’ble MR, the above projects will be executed soon.
