Odia Cinema releases in Raja festival 2023

Bhubaneswar:18/6/23: Encashing in on the three-day Raja festival beginning June 14 and the summer vacations, Odia movie producers have lined up four releases to keep the cash registers ringing. This is a norm every year and invariably, the effort hits the bull’s eye.

Fans of Odia films finally have a reason to rejoice this Raja! With theatres welcoming back audiences after close to two years of dry spell due to the pandemic, Odia cine industry has also made a comeback this festive season with four films lined up for release . LAGILA RANGA GOLAPI GOLAPI A, Guddu Gangster and Love in London.

Among all these Festive season of Ollywood Rajo and Dussehera is known to be the time of big release in the history of Ollywood.Like every year this year also there will be multiple releases in Raja. LAGILA RANGA GOLAPI GOLAPI A Musical Love Story, featuring Amlan and Riya, superhit music by Hitmaker Baidyanath Das, penned by Srikant Gautam, Dialogues by Dr. Nirmal Nayak, Edited by Rajesh Dash, Story Screenplay and Directed by Mrityunjaya Sahoo. was the first release on 9 June 2023, followed by Guddu Gangster starring Superstar Sidhant. Ashok Pati has directed this second film under Anasmish Production & Amara Studios

The film” Guddu Gangster” is produced by Pritam Sahu and Naveen Bhandari. This film is full of love romance, comedy, action, and a rare and supernatural event that will keep the audience hooked till the end, said director Ashok Pati.. A total of 5 songs have been composed under the music direction of Asad Nizam. At the same time, Kuldeep Pattnaik, Human Sagar, Swayam Padhi, Aseema Panda, Antara, and Navya Jyati have given lead voices for songs. However, for the first time, Suryamayi has sung the promotional song of the movie. Ollywood star Sailendra and Shivani’s sizzling onscreen romance along with the flawless performances of superstars Sidhant Mahapatra and Namrata Thapsa will woo the audience, according to the promotion agency, the rest cst of the film has Eli Padhi, Krishna Kar (KK), Bobby Mishra, Rakhi Dash, Choudhary Jayprakash, Sambhunath Hota. The film was released on 13 June 2023

The third film to release ‘Love in London. Model-turned-actress Swapna Priyadarshini will debut on the big screen with this movie opposite Ollywood superstar Anubhav Mohanty  Also, after four years, the local  audience will see Mohanty making it into the in big screen.

Ollywood star Anubhav Mohanty, actress Swapna Priyadarshini and Soumya Sachdeva-starrer Love in London was released on  June 13 in cinema halls across the state. The movie, directed by Tapas Sargharia, is a romantic thriller that will bring Anubhav back to action after a lull. The JB Films and Amara Studios presented Love in London is a romantic action thriller featuring Anubhav Mohanty (Prem), Swapna Priyadarsini (Sophie), Somya Sachdeva (Shweta). The film is mostly shot in London and the interior parts of Odisha. Four music directors do the music direction of the movie. Baidyanath Dash, Somesh Satpathy, Asad Nizam, and Binay. Naveen Bhandari and J Barkha are the producer of the movie. Subrat Khatei is the DOP, while Girish Mohanty is the choreographer.  Rachna Nayak is the Lyricist.
