62nd National Interstate Senior Athletics Championships 2023 made a jubilant start

Bhubaneswar:15/6/23: The 62nd National Interstate Senior Athletics Championships 2023 made a jubilant start at the iconic Kalinga Stadium here on Thursday.

Chief Guest and legendary athlete PT Usha officially declared the event open in the presence of Sport Minister Tusharkanti Behera, Sports Secretary R. Vineel Krishna and Athletics Federation of India (AFI) Head Coach Radhakrishnan Nair.

On the occasion, sprinter Srabani Nanda took the pledge for fair play on behalf of all participating athletes.

The SOP issued by Athletics Federation of India, Government of Odisha & Government of India will be followed for hosting this National Athletics Championships.

The Department of Sports and Youth Services, Govt. of Odisha, is organizing the mega event, which will continue till June 18.

Eminent athletes will showcase their talent the Championship.
