JSW Steel and JUSL planted many saplings at its mining and plant areas in World Environment Day

Keonjhar /Sundargarh /Jagatsinghpur:5/6/23; Observing World Environment Day, JSW Steel and JUSL planted many saplings at its mining and plant areas in Keonjhar, Sundargarh and Jagatsinghpur districts.JSW Steel planted around 300 saplings in Jajang, Nuagaon, Narayanposhi and Ganua. The Environment Management department and along with mines managers, employees of JSW Steel and local villagers carried out the mass plantation drive.

Moreover, the company also created awareness and encouraged locals to minimize the use of plastic. Also, it was requested to choose single use plastic for the betterment of the environment.

Similarly, JSW Utkal Steel in Paradip planted five thousand Casuarina saplings in its project area.

The coastal areas of the Paradip Sea are often exposed to natural disasters, hence the need to create extensive mangrove forests along the coast. In the coming days, the company aims to carry out extensive tree plantation programs in various places like this.
