BJD announced the names of the party observers for the upcoming by-election to the Jharsuguda

Bhubaneswar: 4/4/23:The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Tuesday announced the names of the party observers for the upcoming by-election to the 07-Jharsuguda Assembly Constituency. A notification issued by Pranab Prakash Das, BJD Organising Secretary, said that senior party leaders Prasanna Acharya, Devi Prasad Mishra and Sarada Prashad Nayak have been appointed observers for the by-election scheduled for May 10.

The Jharsuguda Assembly seat fell vacant following the death of Naba Kishore Das, former Health Minister, on January 29 this year. The BJD has nominated Das’ daughter Dipali Das as its candidate for the seat.
