Odisha Government’s Upper Indravati Lift Irrigation Project has bagged the “National Water Digest” award

Bhubaneswar: 18/3/23:The Odisha Government’s Upper Indravati Lift Irrigation Project has bagged the “National Water Digest” award from the Ministry of Jal Shakti.

The Department of Water Resources has received the prestigious award in the category of Best Infrastructure Pioneer Project from Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at 16th Water Digest Water Awards 2022-2023 in New Delhi.

Upper Indravati Lift Irrigation Project in Kalahandi district has been awarded for exemplary work in the field of water conservation and management.

Besides, Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation has bagged the prestigious “National Water Digest” award in the category best community project.
