Commissioner-Cum-Secretary of Mission Shakti Department has Felicitates SHG Members on Successful Completion of Bridal Makeup Course

Bhubaneswar:2/3/23: Sujata R. Karthikeyan, Commissioner-Cum-Secretary of Mission Shakti Department, Government of Odisha, attended the closing ceremony of Bridal Makeup course training programme as the chief guest here on Thursday.

On the occasion, the Mission Shakti Secretary has felicitated 40 SHG members from the different districts who have successfully completed the one-month bridal makeup course with training certificates.

The bridal makeup course training programme was organized by the World Skill Centre in association with the Mission Shakti Department for the empowerment of women.

The one-month programme was successfully conducted with the support of the State Government and guidance of the Mission Shakti Director, said the SHG members, who participated in the programme.

The bridal makeup course will help the SHG members to become self-reliant and self-employed in their respective districts. The SHG members want to do something different in their life, hence bridal makeup course is being provided through Mission Shakti to create new opportunities for them.

The SHG members shared their experiences about the training programme and said that it will enable to become self-reliant and guide other women in their localities to pursue a career in bridal makeup.

World Skill Center CEO Alka Misra and other officials were present at the closing ceremony of the bridal makeup course training programme.
