Bhubaneswar: (Ashok Palit)5/9//18:For 29th Odisha state Film Awards only Eighteen  main stream film has been   entered     in competition, the film includes in competition were: Sita Rama ka Bahaghara Kalijugare ,Dil Diwana heigala, Tu Mo Love Story ,Tumaku Dekhila Pare, Katha Deli Matha Chuin, Tu Mo Love Story ,Bhakta O Bhagawan ,Just Mohabbat, Sapana ra Pathe Pathe, Mu Khanti Odia Jhia, Hero No.1, Shiva Not Out, Jagannath Dham Puri, Laila O Laila ,The Vakua, Hello Arsi, Sapana Tiea  & Khaniyaka

Out of 18 feature film Hello Arsi , Sapana Tiea  & Khaniyaka deals with original story rest of the film were remake from Telgu,Tamil, Kannad or Bengalifilm. Beside this film Documentary film Paika vidroha,Charu chitra pat,Santha Purostham,Shyamamani Devi and children film Drushant are also in the entry list.It is worthy to note that 34 Odia film had been released in 2017.

.As per the ORISSA   ST ATE  AWARDS  FOR  FILMS   RULES:  . 2010 only  those  films  that  have  a minimum   running  time of 70 minutes  and are certified  by the said Board  as feature  films: In case  of  award   for  Best  Children  Films,  only  such  films  shall  be  eligible  as have been certified  by the said Board  as ” Children’s   Films.” For  the  non-feature    films,   only  these  that  are  certified   by  the  said  Board  as Documentary   news  reels,  or non-feature  films. The acceptable   gauge  of the film is 35 mm or 16 mm The  Chairman   of the Jury  may seek  advice  of the experts  in specialized areas  whenever   necessary
