.The Adani Group reiterated its strong interest in investing in Odisha’s clean energy sector. Building on earlier interactions with the Deputy Chief Minister, the company expressed its intent to establish two power plants of 3,000 MW capacity each — a combined 6,000 MW addition that could significantly boost the state’s carbon-free power generation capacity.

Recognising the critical need for continuous, carbon-free baseload power, both sides placed special emphasis on renewable and advanced clean energy solutions. The Adani team also extended a formal invitation to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister to visit their operational renewable energy projects in other states.

The meeting signals growing momentum in Odisha’s green energy ambitions and underscores the Adani Group’s continued confidence in the state’s investment potential.

As Odisha positions itself as a key player in India’s clean energy transition, today’s high-level engagement could pave the way for transformative projects in the years ahead.
