I & PR Department restructuring of the cadre of Odisha information Service

Bhubaneswar, Date-9.3.2024 To strengthen the different Departments and to keep the people of the State informed of different people-centric policies/ schemes, the State Information Service Cadre by crea simultaneous abolition of 4(Four) posts. The restructuring will also render the Cadre dynamic on account of the increased scope of accelerated upward mobility of the Cadre officers.

Under the decision of the Cabinet, the cadre of Odisha Information Service is restructured with creation of 46 posts and abolition of 4 posts at the level of SDIPRO (OIS The newly created 46 posts of SDIPRO (OIS subdivisions of the State, 8 posts of PRO for the group of Departments, 2 posts of PRO for Social Media Activities, 2 posts of PRO for Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Municipal Corporations, 6 posts of PRO for six important offices of the Government and Training and Deputation Reserve Officer. 10 posts are being created in the rank of DIPRO (OIS Manager, Publications, (ii) Stores officer, (iii) Research and Reference Officer, (iv) DIPRO, Rourkela being taken out of the SDIPRO (OIS Asst. Director (Social Media) and the remaining 4(Four) posts of Leave, Training and Deputation Reserve Officer. 2 posts are being created both in the ranks of Deputy D post is being created at the level of Additional Director.
