Naveen Patnaik launched the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup-2023 song, composed by Pritam

Bhubaneswar30/12/22; Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup-2023 song, composed by Pritam.

The song titled ‘Hockey Hai Dil Mera’ has been sung by a group of eleven singers including Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, Amit Mishra, Benny Dayal, Lisa Mishra, Antara Mitra, Sreerama Chandra, Nakesh Aziz, Shalmali Kholgade and Namita Meleka of Odisha“Glad to launch Hockey World Cup 2023 song, which encapsulates the spirit of hockey. The song reflects the vivacious spirit of the game. I am sure it will touch the hearts of sports lovers,” said the Chief Minister in a twitter post.

Notably, Odisha is all set to host the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup-2023 at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela from January 13 to 29 next year.

The opening ceremony of the mega event is scheduled to be held at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on January 11.

Hindi film actors Ranveer Singh and Disha Patani and BLACKSWAN, the famous K-Pop brand featuring Odisha’s Shreya Lenka are scheduled to perform on the occasion.

Odissi Guru Aruna Mohanty and national award winner Shiamak Davar have choreographed the dance performances. The event will also feature many local Odia stars and performers, sources said.
