Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) V K Pandian directed to complete Trauma Care and Surgery Complex building at the Capital Hospital by December 2023

Bhubaneswar:16/11/22: Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) V K Pandian today expressed satisfaction over the progress of work of Trauma Care and Surgery Complex building at the Capital Hospital here and directed to complete it by December 2023.

On instructions from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Pandian today visited the Capital Hospital and reviewed the progress of work of the Trauma Care and Surgery Complex building as well as the Post Graduate Institute site.Pandian advised the Executing Agency to widen the road in front of the Academic Block of PGI, keeping in view the future traffic movement

Later Pandian met senior officials at the Conference Hall of Capital Hospital and discussed the Master Plan for the development of Capital Hospital with 2000 beds and also the establishment of the Odisha University of Health Science and also residential quarters for the staff.  He advised the OB&CC to expedite the preparation of the Master Plan.Principal Secretary, Works VVK Yadav, Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Salini Pandit, MD, OB&CC and other senior officials were also present during the review.
