MOU was signed between H&UDD ,Govt. of Odisha and AAI for online integration of No Objection Certificate

Bhubaneswar9/11/22: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Housing & Urban Development Department (H&UDD), Govt. of Odisha and the Airport Authority of India (AAI) for online integration of No Objection Certificate (NOC) from AAI for the Online Building Permission and Approval System (OBPAS) under the SUJOG initiative today in presence of G.Mathivathanan, Principal Secretary, H&UD, Govt. of Odisha.

Among others Balwant Singh, Vice Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority; Vijay Amrit Kulange, Commissioner Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation; Susanta Kumar Mishra, Addl. Secretary,H&UDD, Govt. of Odisha; R.S. Lahauria, General Manager (ATM), Eastern Region, DoAS; Mughavi Zhimo, Asst. General Manager (ATM), CHQ, DoAS; other officials from Housing & Urban Development Department, Govt. of Odisha and stakeholders of SUJOG Project.

This citizen-centric digital transformation initiative by Govt. of Odisha comes under the SUJOG umbrella which stands for “Sustainable Urban Services in a Jiffy by Odisha Government”. The SUJOG initiative aims to digitize the citizen journey and provide enhanced quality of urban services to citizens through online / single window service delivery channel and ensure accessible, convenient, transparent and timely delivery of services.

The signing of this MoU with AAI envisages complete automation of the NOC process related to building plan approval. The AAI NOC, a mandatory document for the approval of Building plan,will now be delivered online through an integrated one stop solution.This MoU will lay the foundation stone for an effective, efficient and transparent buildingcplan application approval system.
